Line filters, lubricators and a pressure regulator will insure that the air supply is properly conditioned. Even the best air systems accumulate dirt and moisture over a period of time. Blowing out hoses and air lines periodically will help prolong motor life. HOSE A special 3/8 I.D. hose is provided. It is more flexibl

hose with 3/8 quick couplings. MOTOR LUBRICATION An air line lubricator set to deliver 1-2 drops per minute is recommended. SPEED CONTROL Speed of the tool may be adjusted by turning the slotted speed control which is accessible thru a hole in the valve operator ring. MAINTENANCE To flush motor, disconnect air hose and pour petroleum solvent into the air inlet. Connect to air line and run motor, then lubricate with oil. CHANGING BITS Disconnect tool from air line. Hold collet body with one wrench and loosen collet retaining nut with other wrench, replace cutting bit and retighten collet nut. Be sure bit is inserted into collet body before tightening collet nut. SAFETY 1. Wear eye protection when using this machine. 2. Disconnect tool from air line when changing bits or making adjustments. 3. Always keep hands away from rotating cutter bits. 4. Always check collet to make sure cutter bits are tight. A WAR
It is always recommended that the tool is used when standing on the solid floor. It can be used in other positions, but before any such use, the operator must be in a secure position having a firm grip and footing and be aware that when loosening fasteners the tool can move quite quickly away from the fastener being undone. An allowance must always be made lor this rearward movement so as to avoid the possibility of handferm/body entrapment. Putting Into Service Air Supply Use a clean lubrica
