About one-third of the way out from the corners in most rooms is a good starting point. If you areusing a THX Ultra 2 certified controller/receiver,you should place the back surround speakers approximately 1 to 2 feet (.3,.6m) apart in the center of the back wall. As the music increased in volume, it was very refreshing to hear all of the speakers including the sub move in unison. The opening song was a joy to listen to from the guitars, to the bongos, to Don Henley’s vocals.
