Fixes
HP Clustered File System 3.6.0 hotfix 1 resolves the following issues:
• Defect 17964. A public community string was required for fabric fencing
configurations. Also, the FC switches had to be accessible via an ICMP ping.
• Defect 19388. The Event Notifications control panel was too large for typical
remote desktop resolutions.
• Defect 19564. When a cloned snapshot volume was mounted and a node was
then rebooted, some dynamic volumes might not be imported.
• Defect 19722. HP Clustered File System did not correctly identify the location at
which loop attached devices logged into the FC switch.
• Defect 19875. User-supplied community strings were not exported correctly.
• Defect 19831. A defect in the filesystem full-zone bitmap code could potentially
cause the system to bug check or panic during normal use. This issue was limited
to a smal set of filesystems of specific sizes.
• Defect 19921. When a user at empted to write from one to eight bytes of zeros,
the write did not occur, which could result in file corruption.
• Defect 19934. Under certain contentious CIFS workloads, a write operation
could cause the system to bug check.
• Defect 19945. Alerts for concatenated dynamic volumes created in earlier HP
Clustered File System releases could not be removed from the HP Management
Console until the volumes were recreated. These Alerts have been replaced
by an informational local message.
• Defect 20256. A drive letter assigned to a filesystem on one or more nodes
was changed incorrectly on all nodes when the drive letter was reassigned (for
example, the drive letter was assigned to the same filesystem on a new node).
This issue did not affect mount path assignments and occurred only when the HP
Management Console was used to assign the drive let er.
