Fixes
HP Clustered File System for Windows — FS Option 3.6.1 for Windows hotfix 1 resolves
the following issue:
• Defect 24513. When accessing file shares, the HP Clustered File
Systemmonitor_agent unnecessarily traversed the directory tree structure,
resulting in performance issues.
Prerequisites
HP Clustered File System 3.6.1 for Windows and FS Option 3.6.1 for Windows on a
supported version of Windows Server 2003.
Instal ation instructions
To instal the hotfix, complete the following steps on each server:
1. Copy the MxFS_CIFS_3.6.1_hotfix1..msi file to the server.
2. Double click the MxFS_CIFS_3.6.1_hotfix1..msi file and run the
installer.
3. Reboot the server.
Remove the hotfix
Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to remove the hotfix.
