Remove the elastomer jacket that is under the front UID by squeezing

Loosen the thumbscrew on the interconnect board (2).
10. Slide the board back to remove it from the guide (3), and then lift
it out of the enclosure.

Remove the power supply behind the interconnect board.

Insert the replacement board into the guide that extends into the
hard drive bay.

Move the mounting latch to the left (1, Figure 5), grasp the
handle, and pull the power supply slightly out of the enclosure

Tighten the thumbscrew to secure the board to the enclosure.

Plug in the new interconnect cable by attaching one end to the

Set the top access panel on the enclosure, and secure the access

Reinstall the power supply behind the interconnect board.

Install the front UID module.

Reinstall the enclosure into the rack and attach the bezel ears.
9.
Reattach the power and data cables to the enclosure components.
10. Press the Power On/Standby button on the power UID bezel (located
at rear of enclosure) and hold it down long enough to power up
the enclosure.

11. For the EVA4400 only: Power up any other disk enclosures attached
to the array by pressing their Power On/Standby button on the
power UID bezel. After power has been applied to all disk
enclosures, then apply power on the controller enclosure using the
power button on the power UID bezel.
