signal()
function
is

ted

POSIX/iX
library
as
a
call
to
sigaction() ;

er,
the
signal()
function

considered

standard
to

incompatible
with

sigaction()
function.

strictly
conforming
POSIX.1
application

The

function

reinstall

Setting
SIGCHLD

SIG_IGN
has
no

on

wait()

functions.

application

set

SIGCHLD

SIG_IGN .
When
using
the
kill()
function,
the
