The actual screens on your PC will probably be different, depending upon your particular version of Windows and your particular video card. However, even if your actual screens look different, the same basic set-up information will apply in almost all cases. (If not, contact your computer manufacturer or Samsung Dealer.) 1. First, click on ‘Control Panel’ on the Windows start menu. 2. When the control panel window appears, click on ‘Appearance and Themes’ and a display dialog-box will appear. 3. When the control panel window appears, click on ‘Display’ and a display dialogbox will appear. 4. Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab on the display dialog-box. • The correct size setting (resolution) - Optimum: 1920 X 1080 pixels • If a vertical-frequency option exists on your display settings dialog box, the correct value is ‘60’ or ‘60 Hz’. Otherwise, just click ‘OK’ and exit the dialog box. Display Modes If the signal from the system equals the standard signal mode, the screen is adjusted automatically. If the signal from the system doesn’t equal the standard signal mode, adjust the mode by referring to your videocard user guide; otherwise there may be no video. For the display modes listed on the next page, the screen image has been optimized during manufacturing. ■ D-Sub and HDMI/DVI Input Mode Resolution Horizontal Frequency (KHz) Vertical Frequency (Hz) Pixel Clock Frequency (MHz) Sync Polarity (H / V) IDM 64Qx 35Q 31.469 7Q.Q86 25.175 +/- IBM 72Qx 4QQ 31.469 7Q.Q87 28.322 -/+ 64Qx 48Q 35^ 66.667 3Q.24Q -/- MAC 832 x 624 49.726 74.551 57.284 -/■ 1152x87Q 68.681 75.Q62 -/- 72Qx 576 35.91Q 59.95Q 32.75Q -/+ 1152x864 53.783 59.959 81.75Q -/+ VESA CVT 128Qx72Q 44.772 59.855 74.5QQ -/+ 128Qx72Q 56.456 74.777 95.75Q -/+ 128Qx96Q 75.231 74.857 -/+ 64Qx 48Q 31.469 59.94Q 25.175 -/- 64Qx 48Q 37.861 72.8Q9 31.5QQ -/■ 64Qx 48Q 37.5QQ 75.GGG 31.5QQ -/- 8QQx 6QQ 37.879 6Q.317 4G.GGG +/+ 8QQx 6QQ 48.Q77 72.188 50.000 +/+ 8QQx 6QQ 46.875 75.GGG 49.5QQ +/+ 1Q24x768 48.363 6G.GG4 65.GGG -/■ 1Q24x768 56.476 7Q.Q69 75.GGG -/- 1Q24x768 6Q.Q23 75.Q29 78.75Q +/+ VESA DMT 1152x864 67.5QQ 75.GGG 1G8.GGG +/+ 128Qx1Q24 63.981 60.020 1G8.GGG +/+ 128Qx1Q24 79.976 75.Q25 135.GGG +/+ 128Qx8QQ 49.7Q2 59.81Q 83.5QQ -/+ 128Qx8QQ 62.795 74.934 1G6.5GG -/+ 128Qx96Q 6G.GGG 6G.GGG ^8^ +/+ 136Qx768 47.712 6Q.Q15 85.5QQ +/+ 144Qx9QQ 55.935 59.887 1G6.5GG -/+ 144Qx9QQ 7Q.635 74.984 136.75Q -/+ 168Qx1Q5Q 65.29Q 59.954 146.25Q -/+ VESA GTF 128Qx72Q 52.5QQ 7G.GGG 89.Q4Q -/+ 128Qx1Q24 74.62Q 70.000 128.943 -/- VESA DMT / DTV CEA 192Q x WQp 67.5QQ 6G.GGG 148.5QQ +/+ N When using an HDMI / DVI cable connection, you must use the HDMI IN 3(DVI) jack.
