This document provides information about the September 2008 release of the 10GigEthr-01
bundle for HP-UX 11i v3.
1 10GigEthr-01 Overview
The 10GigEthr-01 bundle contains the icxgbe version B.11.31.0809 driver, which supports the
AD386A PCIe 10 Gigabit Ethernet Card.
2 New and Changed Features in This Release
2.1 New Features
The following features are new with this version of 10GigEthr-01:

Accelerated Virtual I/O (AVIO) SSN support
The icxgbe driver now supports AVIO. This feature significantly improves HP Integrity
Virtual Machines (HPVM) I/O performance. For more information about AVIO, see the

Install kernel support
The icxgbe driver now supports the HP-UX 11i v3 install kernel.
