3 ST 3+4 EspanolFrancaisEnglish EspanolFrancaisEnglish n Input Channel Selector Switch 1/2 3/4 1+3/2+4 1/2 3/4 1+3/2+4 1/2 3/4 1+3/2+4 a) Setting this switch to "1/2" will send the signal at the inputs of CH-1/2 to CH-3/4 of the MRV-F307. This eliminates the need for "Y"-adaptors when using a head unit with a single pair of pre-amp output. b) Set this switch to "3/4" to have the inputs of CH-3/4 accept independent input signals. An example of this application would be the use of a head unit with dual preamp outputs. c) Setting this switch to "1 + 3/ 2 + 4" will sum the CH-1 and CH-3 input and send it to CH-3 while the CH-2 and CH-4 inputs are summed and sent to CH-4. o High-pass Output Phase Switch Sets the phase of this output to 0° (in phase) or 180° (inverted) independently from the other output. Often, the subwoofer and midrange (or midrange and tweeter) may be acoustically out of phase with each other, meaning all the sound will cancel completely or partially. Also, 2nd order filters are naturally out- of-phase electrically. Always try the phase switch to establish the best setting before fine-tuning the crossover frequencies. o Input Mode Selector Switch 1(MONO) ST 1(MONO) ST 1(MONO) ST a) Set to the “ST” position (center) when the two channels are used in stereo. The 1+2 CH-1 (or CH-2) input will output at the Speaker Output Terminal CH-1 (or CH2). b) Set to the “1 (MONO)” position when the two channels are used for one chan 1+2 nel of a stereo bridged system. The CH1 input is output from the Speaker Output Terminals CH-1(+) and CH-2 (–). The CH-2 input accepts no signal. c) Set to the “1 + 2” position when the two channels are used for a subwoofer sys 1+2 tem which uses the right channel and left channel signals summed. The CH1 and CH-2 inputs are summed, then output from the Speaker Output Terminals CH-1(+) and CH-2 (–). o Subsonic Mode Selector Switch a) Set this switch to “OFF” when you want OFF 15Hz 30Hz to hear tones not possible when the Subsonic filter switch is used. b) Set to “15 Hz” when connected to OFF 15Hz 30Hz subwoofers such as 10 inch (25 cm) bass speakers, if the sound seems less distorted at that setting. c) Set to “30 Hz” when connected to ordi- OFF 15Hz 30Hz nary speakers (not subwoofers) for instance a mid bass speaker of 8 inches (20 cm) or more if the sound seems less distorted at that setting. n Commutateur selecteur du canal d’entree a) Lorsque ce commutateur est regle sur "1/ 2", il enverra le signal aux entrees de CH 1/2 3/4 1+3/2+4 1/2 a CH-3/4 du MRV-F307.
