English EN 19 6 Text and numbers You can enter text and numbers for handset name, phonebook records, and other menu items. Press and hold to switch between the uppercase and lowercase letters. 20 EN 7 Phonebook This phone has a phonebook that stores up to 100 records.You can access the phonebook from the handset. Each record can have a name up to 14 characters long and a number up to 24 digits long. There are 2 direct access memories (keys and ). Delete a record 1 Select [Menu] > [Phonebook] > [Delete]. 2 Select a contact, then press [OK] to confirm. » The handset displays a confirmation request. 3 Press [OK] to confirm. 22 EN English Delete all records 1 Select [Menu] > [Phonebook] > [Delete all], then press [OK] to confirm. » The handset displays a confirmation request. 2 Press [OK] to confirm. » All records are deleted. Direct keys The phone features 3 direct keys to store the emergency phone numbers or numbers you call frequently. Set the direct keys 1 Enter the number, then press and hold M1, M2 or M3. 2 Enter the name, then press [OK] to confirm. 3 Edit the number if necessary, then press [Save] to confirm. » The direct key is set. Note • If there is already a record saved in the direct key, you need to confirm whether you want to replace the old record with the new one.
