Terminators on Memory Slots
The DIMM Installation procedure in Chapter 3 mentions the use of terminators in the DIMM slots. The HP Server tc4100
does not use terminators in the DIMM slots.
Local Support Tool
The Local Support Tool (mentioned in Chapter 3, Running Configuration Assistant and Automated NOS Installation)
should be called Instant Toptools.
CDROM Location
In the rack-configured model, the CDROM is located on the bottom of the Common Tray Bay.
Tape Drive Installation and Configuration
Tape drives do not come with the mounting hardware that is required for installation. Be sure to order the appropriate
mounting kit.
The procedure for selecting and configuring tape drives has been updated and can be found in Chapter 3, Selecting SCSI
Tape Drives, of the Operations and Maintenance Guide (English version).
Misnumbered Steps
Some of the procedures in Chapter 6 of the HP Server tc4100 Operations and Maintenance Guide contain misnumbered
steps. Although the steps are misnumbered, the sequence of the steps, read top to bottom, are correct. The errors apply
only to the English version of the guide on the Documentation CDROM.
The affected procedure titles are:

· Printer/Datacomm Problems
· SCSI Problems
· Processor Problems

A corrected version of the Operations and Maintenance Guide can be accessed and downloaded from the HP web site.
