Using your hairdryer • Fold the handle down away from the barrel until it clicks into the open position. • Use a pen to select the appropriate setting on the voltage switch. • Insert the plug into a power outlet and turn the power on. • Select the desired heat / speed setting. Setting I is best for controlled styling whilst setting II is ideal for fast drying. • Hold the hairdryer about 30 cm away from your hair. • Section your hair in 4-5cm strips and dry each section before moving on to the next. • Use the concentrator nozzle onto specific areas of the hair for spot drying or when styling. • Once hair is dried use the cool shot setting to cool the hair and set the style. Using your Straightener Using your straightener • Insert the plug into the power outlet and turn the power on. • Move the on/off switch to the on position (I) • Select the desired heat level by rotating the temperature dial on the side of the straightener. Use lower heat for fine hair or touch ups. Use higher heat for thicker hair or more resistant curls. • Allow the straightener to heat up for a few moments before using. • Brush hair thoroughly. Separate out section of hair approximately 4cm in width and smooth it with a comb. • For best results start at the scalp and work to the ends of the hair. Place the separated section of hair between the flat plates and close the handle around the hair. • Hold the styler in position for 3 to 5 seconds depending on the hair type. • Once the hair is heated, carefully slide the styler along the section of separated hair, making sure that the hair is heated and straightened all the way to the ends. • Select another section of hair and repeat the process. • Use the cool shot setting on the hairdryer to set the style. Care and Cleaning • Turn your appliance off after use. Always turn the power off and remove the plug before cleaning. • Do not immerse the appliances in water or any other liquid. • To clean the exterior, simply wipe over with a dampened cloth and wipe dry. • To clean the straightening plates, wipe with a soft cloth moistened with a solution of shampoo and warm water. • Do not wind the power cord around appliances as this may cause strain and damage the wiring. • The hairdryer handle can be folded for easy storage or to save space in a suitcase or sports bag.
