manual abstract
• Only for chimney installation: Apply the support bracket „G“ to the adherent ceiling, use the chimney support bracket as a hole scheme (if present, the small eyelet found on the support should coincide with the line previously traced on the wall) and trace with a pencil 2 holes, drill the holes (O8mm), insert 2 plugs. Fasten the support bracket to the wall with 2 5x45mm screws (4). • Open the panel and remove the grease filters (see relevant paragraph). 7 Installation • Hang the hood (5), regulate the position (6-7) and fasten it securely with one screw and washer(8). • Carry out electrical connections, but leave the hood disconnected from the general electrical main panel. • Only for filtering version without chimney installation: remove the fume non-return valve from the flange (9a). • Install the flange (9b) with 2 screws. 8 • For exhaust-air mode only: Carry out the connection of one tube (10A – tube and ties for fastening not included, they need to be bought) for the fume discharge to the connection ring placed on top of the extractor motor unit. The other end of the tube should be connected to a fume expulsion device towards the outside, in case the hood is used in extractor version. Note: a multi-fitting for pipes of different diameters is supplied with the hood (see drawing below). Installation • For chimney installation only: In case you want to use the hood in filtering version, fasten the deflector F to the support bracket, and connect the other side of the tube to the connection ring placed on the deflector (10F). Use a small flat-tip screwdriver to bend upwards (perfectly vertical) the three tangs situated on the upper side of the hood at the sides of its exhaust hole (11). They will be used as a stop for the chimney. Cover the holes using the adhesive labels supplied. 9 Installation Lay the chimneys on the hood in such a way that the side tangs are inside the chimney and the front tang is outside (in order to lock the chimney in position). Pull the upper section upwards and fix it above to the chimney support bracket with 2 screws (12). Warning! If the hood has to be used in extractor version, remove, if supplied, the carbon filter and the fastening wand (placed on the back of the grease filters – see relative paragraph). If the hood has to be used in filtering version, make sure that the carbon filter is already mounted on the back of the grease filter, or in case it’s missing, buy it and install it. • Reinstall the grease filters and close the panel. Note - only for installation without flues: if you want to use the hood in the filtering version, install the small grills/deflector on the flanges. Note: install the small deflector grills so that the air is conveyed to the side opposite the wall. BSH Electrodomesticos Espana, S.A. CIF.
