Think of air circulation in terms of the circular motion of the air before and after the air filter. The air exiting the filter is exhausted at a higher velocity than that entering it. Consequently, exhaust being vented inside a building can have an effect on the pattern of air circulation. Air circulation patterns will vary depending upon which method is used and according to your specific shop setup. Figure 4 shows an example of good air circulation. Filter Figure 4. Good air circulation. The

Calculate, how long it takes to circulate all the volume of air in a room with the double air filter; where W = Width, L = Length and H = Height of your room, in feet. The rate of air movement for the air filter is 1400 cubic feet per minute. W' x L' x H' = Minutes for circulating 1 time 1400 Step 2. Calculate how many times per hour the volume is recirculated through the double air filter by dividing 60 minutes by the amount of time it takes to circulate the volume once. The result is listed as

• Try to place the unit where it is easy to access for turning it on, cleaning and maintenance. Filter Filter Figure 4. Good circulation. The air filter placement promotes circular air motion. Figure 5. Poor circulation. Placed too close to the wall, the air circulation short cycles leaving much of the room unfiltered. -10- G5955 Heavy-Duty Hanging Air Filter Filter Capacity The G5955 Hanging Air Filter is designed to recirculate the entire volume of air in a room measuring 25' X 25' X 8' approx

(See Figure 15) 7. Remove tag and alcohol from lamp. Wipe off lamp being sure not to ouch lamp with bare hands. The oils from your hands will reduce lamp output. 8. Insert lamp through hole until lamp cannot be inserted any further. (See Figure 16) 9. Swing swivel bracket over end of lamp. Hand-tighten the wing nut on stud. (See Figure 17) Be careful not to over tighten the wing nut. The porcelain at the lamp base may crack when over tightened. 10. Plug ballast plug into end of lamp. (See Figure

n the supply plenum or in the return plenum; preferably downstream from the air filter. For optimum “cleaning” effect on the ‘A’ coil, mount the unit in the supply plenum as close as possible to the ‘A’ coil. (See Figure 1) 2. Determine the type of duct you have. * Split system heat pumps are systems where the air handler and the air conditioning compressor are separate units. **Packaged units are systems where the air handler and the air conditioning compressor are built together and are instal

Make sure when installing the base the plated washer on the switch is raised approximately 3.16". The proving switch must be fully engaged. (See Figure 8) 14. With aluminum or foil tape, seal all joints and seams of the plenum near the mounting location to reduce any direct viewing of light. Over a thirty day period, the moisture content was measured at weekly intervals. Homes with the Eliminator installed saw a reduction of moisture levels to as low as 16% and 17%. A wood moisture level of 20% or less is considered ideal. Homes without the Eliminator showed no reduction in moisture content. “The Eliminator performed well, even under severe moisture problem conditions… the amount of air moved is sufficient to correct the problems present.” Cliff Consulting Columbia, S.C.
