Do not attempt to disassemble the camera. To prevent electric shock, do not remove screws or covers. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Ask a qualified service person for servicing. 2. Handle the camera with care. Do not abuse the camera. Avoid striking, shaking, etc. The camera could be damaged by improper handling or storage. 3. Do not expose the camera to rain or moisture, or try to operate it in wet areas. Turn the power off immediately and ask a qualified service person for servicing. 'Moisture can damage the camera and also create the danger of electric shock. 4. Do not use strong or abrasive detergents when cleaning the camera body. 5. Clean the lens with care. Do not clean the lens with strong or abrasive detergents. Use lens tissue or a cotton tipped applicator and ethanol. 6. Never face the camera towards the sun. Do not aim the camera at bright objects. Whether the camera is in use or not, never aim it at the sun or other extremely brght objects. Otherwise, blooming or smear may be caused. 7. Do not operate the camera beyond the specified temperature, humidity or power source ratings. Use the camera under conditions where temperature is between -10°C - +50°C (14°F - 122°F), and humidity is below 90 %. INSTALLATION important Notices: • The following installation should be made by qualified service personnel or system installers and should conform to all local codes. • Be sure to use a wall board having enough strength to support this camera. Mounting the camera (by leading the cables through a hole in the wall) If you can make a hole for the cables in the wall where the camera is to be installed, proceed as follows: 15mm (9/16”) 1. Determine the place on the wall where you want to install the camera. Then make a hole (approx. <|>15 mm) in the wall referring to the diagram above. 2. Detach the panel cover by pressing it at the top and bottom as shown in the diagram, 3. Pass the cables through the cable hole. 4. Connect the cables as shown in the diagram. 5. Mount the camera onto the wall by fixing it with the mounting screws. Note: To monitor images in upright position, confirm that the cable outlet is up as shown in the diagram before fixing the camera with the screws. 6. Attach the panel cover. Make sure it is closed firmly. INSTALLATION OF OPTIONAL LENS To install the optional lens, follow the procedure shown below. 1. Detach the cover by pressing it at the top and bottom as shown in the diagram. 2. Detach the camera by removing the four screws shown in the diagram. & & 3. Place the brackets (provided as standard accessory) on both sides of the camera and tighten with the two screws. 4. install the camera with the brackets on the base with two screws. Remove the lens (originally mounted on {he camera) from the camera by turning it counterclockwise. 6. Remove the lens cap from the optional lens. 7. Mount the optional lens onto the camera by turning it clockwise as shown in the diagram. Cautions: • Do not forget to install the cushioning ring as shown in the diagram. • Install only one cushioning ring between the lens and the camera.
