The Output Selector Buttons (1—10) and Auto Scanning Selector Button on the front panel can be operated. (Operation from Remote Switcher is inhibited.) Operation from either Switcher AG-SW100 or Remote Switcher controls. Operation at Remote Switcher side. (Operation from Switcher AG-SW100 is inhibited.) 0 Output Selector Buttons/Indicators When the desired number button is pressed, the associated input is connected to the Output Terminals 0. •Numbered indicator panel can be used to add desired input name. Remove the two screws to lift out panel, affix name stickers or other transparent name labels on underside of panel, and re-install panel. Auto Scanning Time Control In AUTO SCAN mode, the output signals are switched at intervals of about 1 sec. ~ 30 sec. depending upon setting. When the control is set to “EXT” position, the output signals are switched at the timing of the external pulse input at External Timing Input Jack ® on the rear panel. o Auto Scanning Mode Button/Indicator When this button is pressed and indicator lights, unit is set in AUTO SCAN mode. In this mode, the scanned inputs are switched to the output with the timing set by the Auto Scanning Time Control ©. Mode can be reset to manual by pressing any Output Selector Button © Auto scan indicator light should go off. Skip ON/OFF switch “ON”: Non-signal inputs are automaticaly skipped during AUTO SCAN mode. Note: If no inputs are connected and skip switch is ON, random scanning may occur but this is not a malfunction. “OFF”: All input Terminal (1 — 10) signals are switched in order. Audio Monitor Selector Switch Audio Output Selector Switch for monitoring the output signal from Monitor Output Terminal ф. There are 3 positions—CH1, MIX (CH1 & CH2) and CH2. Two separate sets of terminals are provided. Monitor Output Terminal Used to monitor the selected output signal. External Timing Input Jack Used to connect the external pulse for external control of __.scan interval. a External Timing Output Jack Used to supply interval timing pulse input to other switchers from this unit. © Remote Control Connector Connector for Remote Control Operation. For pin signals, refer table on page 5. © Ground Terminal © AC Power Input Socket CD Voltage Selector This selector can be set for 110, 120, 220, 240 Volt operation. If it is necessary to change the voltage (preset to 120 V at the factory), consult page 2. Connection ■ Connect each set of Input Terminals to the Audio/Video Output of video equipment. Use video cable (BNC connector type) and audio cable (RCA jack type). ■ To monitor the selected signal on a TV Monitor, connect the Monitor Output Terminals (video/audio) of Switcher AG-SW100 to the video and audio input terminals of TV Monitor. ■ When using Multi-Connection System, connect External Timing Output Jack of preceeding Switcher to the External Timing Input Jack, and connect External Timing Output Jack to External Timing Input Jack of next Switcher. ■ If desired to output the signal being monitored, take the video and audio signals out of the Output Terminals.
