PC Software If you set PC Software to On, you can use the PC software built into the camcorder (Intelli-studio) by connecting your camcorder to your PC using the camcorder’s USB cable. You can download the video and photo images stored on the camcorder to your PC’s hard disk and edit the videos and photos using the internal PC software. 1. Touch the Menu ( ) • Setting ( ) tab • “PC Software.” 2. Touch the desired submenu item. 3. To exit the menu, touch the Exit ( ) or Return ( ) tab. Off On PC Software 1/1 Submenu items Off: Disables the PC Software function. Composite: Select Composite when connecting the camcorder to a TV with a Video/Audio (composite) cable. • • TV Display You can enable or disable the On Screen Display (OSD) that appears on the TV screen when you have connected your camcorder to a TV. 1. On: The OSD menus are shown on the LCD screen and the TV screen as well. • • The thumbnail display and Demo screens are shown on the TV even if you set “TV Display” to “Off.” System setting Format Use this function if you want to delete all files completely or to correct problems on the storage media. TV Connect Guide TV Display Default Set 5/6 Format Submenu items (HMX-H303/H304/H305 only) • Internal Memory: Formats the internal memory. • Card: Formats the memory card. 3. Touch “Yes” • “Yes.” • The format is executed and the formatting message appears. • Do not remove the storage media or perform any other operation (such as turning off the power) during formatting. Also, be sure to use the provided AC power adaptor to power the camcorder when formatting. The memory card may be corrupted if the battery becomes exhausted during formatting and the formatting process stops before the card is completely formatted. • If the storage media becomes corrupted, format it again. • Do not format the storage media on a PC or other device.
