TO TURN GAS OFF TO APPLIANCE 1) Set thermostat to the lowest setting. 2) Turn off all electric power to the appliance if service is to be performed. 3) Remove control access panel. 4) Turn knob “A” clockwise > until it stops. 3) 4) Set thermostat to desired setting. To turn off the gas to the main burner only, turn gas control clockwise > to pilot. 5) 6) Press down slightly and continue turning clockwise > from pilot position to “OFF”. Replace control access panel. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS 1) Periodic visual checks of the pilot should be conducted to ensure the flame is present except when the valve control knob is in the “OFF” position. 2) The pilot flame should always be present when the heater is in operation, and should just touch the top of the thermocouple tip.
