Place the system pan in the center of the element. The cooktop must be on. 1. Select the element. 2. Touch AutoChef. The ‘ lights up on the element display. The frying level options appear on the display menu. 3. Select the desired frying level using the number keys on the display menu. The symbols . and __ light up on the display. The temperature symbol . appears until the temperature is reached. Then a beep sounds. The temperature symbol . disappears. 4. Add the frying oil to the pan, then add the ingredients. Select the desired frying program using the number keys. The temperature symbol . appears. The frying program is activated. The temperature symbol . stays lit until the frying temperature is reached. Add the frying oil and then the food to the pan. As usual, turn the food over to avoid burning. Turning off the frying program Select the heating element and then touch Programs. SpeedBoost function The SpeedBoost function can be used to heat large amounts of water faster than by using heat level S. Limitation on use This function is available on all elements, provided that no other element in the same group is operating, (see picture) . If this is not the case, the › and S symbols will flash on the selected element display; then it will automatically set the power level S. In group 2, the function may be activated at the same time for all elements (see picture). . . . Turning on SpeedBoost 1. Select an element. 2. Touch Boost. The letter › will light up in the element display. The function has been turned on. Turning off SpeedBoost 1. Select an element. 2. Touch the Boost touch key. The letter › will no longer be displayed and the element will return to heat levelS. The SpeedBoost function has been deactivated. Note: In certain circumstances, the function may be deactivated automatically to protect the internal electronic components of the cooktop. Cook time You can use the timer function to set a cook time for any element. The element will turn off automatically once the set time has elapsed. 9 CA...
