It must always be set up in a safe location on a level surface. The height adjustment setting of the Active Ironing Board must always be in the locked position. 21. Do not move the ironing board while is in use, nor adjust the height level, The steam station or the iron might otherwise fall off or the Active Ironing Board might close down. 22. Only dry or damp cloth should be ironed. Never wet ones. 23. With the aim of avoiding dangerous situations, any work or repair that the appliance may need, e.g. replacing a faulty mains cable, must only be carried out by qualified personnel from an Authorized Technical Service Centre. 24. When the appliance is to be disposed of, it should be rendered unusable (e.g. by cutting off the cord and plug). PREPARATION (B) Stand the Active Ironing Board on a firm, level surface.
