The following indicates the user region necessary to run HP XP7 Smart Manager for Mainframe.
•
User region less than 16 MB or less: 1,024 KB
•
For an extended user region of 16 MB or more: 4,000 KB + (4 x number of volumes) KB
Check the adequate disk space for these required files.

Before the installation, ensure there is the adequate space for the distribution libraries and the
target libraries, and check the number of the directories for these.

If both HP XP7 Smart Manager for Mainframe and HP XP7 Business Continuity Manager exist in
the same system, the newest version of the User SVC should be registered.
