The numerical display on the control panel will indicate setting Note: the toaster will remember your desired setting whist connected to the mains. When unplugged however the digital control will default to T when next switched on. 3. Insert the bread, muffins or bagels into bread slots. 4. Select the desired browning setting, using the two browning control buttons marked "Lighter" and "Darker". Colour settings range from "1f lightest to "9" darkest.
