If you use the lamp beyond its service life: • you may notice a reduction in the colors and/or brightness of the picture; and • the strength of the quartz glass in the lamp will be reduced and the lamp may rupture (often making a loud noise when this happens). If the lamp ruptures, the TV will not operate until the lamp unit is replaced. CAUTION: Always handle the lamp unit with care.
