Setting the PC Audio This function allows you to output sound from your PC when connecting using the PC IN terminal and an analog RGB cable. 1 From the SETUP menu, highlight AV Connection and press T. 2 Press B or b to select PC/HDMI 1 Audio. 3 Press C or c to select PC. Note: Setting PC/HDMI 1 to PC will force HDMI 1 Audio (- page 51) to Digital mode. Chapter 6: Using the TV’s features Setting the On Timer You can set the on timer to automatically turn on the TV to a preset channel or input at a preset time. To activate the On Timer: 1 From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On Timer and press T. 2 Press B or b to select Enable On Timer, and then press C or c to select On. Note: If the Enable On Timer is set to Off, other menus under On Timer cannot be changed. To set the On Timer: 1 From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On Timer and press T. 2 Press B or b to highlight the item you want to change, and then press C or c to make your desired adjustment. Item Description To select video input source (ANT/CABLE, Input Video 1, Video 2, ColorStream HD1, ColorStream HD2, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, or PC). Channel To select the channel when the TV turns on. Volume To set the volume when the TV turns on. Time until Power On To set the time when the TV turns on from now with C or c or the number buttons (maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes). Note: • While the On Timer is set to On, the On Timer LED is turned on (- “LED indications” on page 61). • If you do not operate the TV for 1 hour after it is powered on by the On Timer feature, the TV will automatically turn itself off. To cancel the On Timer: 1 From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On Timer and press T. 2 Press B or b to select Enable On Timer. 3 Press C or c to select Off. Setting the Sleep Timer You can set the sleep timer to turn off the TV after a set length of time (maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes). To set the sleep timer using the remote control: Press [ on the remote control to set the length of time until the TV turns off. Repeatedly press [ to increase the time in 10-minute increments, or press B or b to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute increments, to a maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes. To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus: 1 From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight Sleep Timer and press T. 2 Press the number buttons to enter the length of time or press C or c to increase or decrease in 10-minute increments (maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes). Note: When a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting may be cleared. To display the remaining sleep time: Press [. To cancel the sleep timer: Repeatedly press [ until it is set to 0 minutes. Chapter 6: Using the TV’s features Chapter 6: Using the TV’s features Using REGZA-LINK® This feature uses CEC technology and allows you to control Toshiba REGZA-LINK compatible devices from the TV remote via HDMI connection (- page 16). When Enable REGZA-LINK in the REGZA-LINK Setup menu is set to On, the following REGZA-LINK functions will be enabled. REGZA-LINK® playback device (DVD player, etc.) control With your TV’s remote control, or using the REGZALINK Player Control menu, you can control the connected REGZA-LINK playback device you are watching. Item Description Power Turns the select device on and off. Root Menu Access the top menu of the select device. Accesses the contents list when you press Contents T. At this time, the REGZA-LINK Player Menu Control menu will disappear. Setup Access the setup menu of a DVD player. Menu Accesses the top menu of a DVD during Top Menu playback.
