This cycle has a five minute cool-down (no heat) period. The dryer will not heat if set for five minutes or less. Use the VERY DRY selection when you want items to be extremely dry. Select EXTRA DRY for extra heavy, bulky items (like blue jeans or towels) that tend to hold more water than the average load. Unless another selection is made, the NORMAL dryness level will automatically be used. Select DAMP for items that you want to iron or finish drying by hanging them up. The ON/SELECT and dryness level pads work together to provide you with up to nine different drying temperatures (depending on the model)
