Usage tips Straighteners are powerful styling tools and must always be used with care. If you use the straightener incorrectly, you could overheat your -Always put the appliance on a heat- resistant surface when it is heating up and when it is hot. - Only use the appliance on dr y or damp hair. - Do not use the appliance on ar tificial hair. -Do not leave the plates in your hair for more than a few seconds at a time to prevent damage to your hair. -Keep the plates clean and free of dust, dir t and styling products such as mousse, spray and gel. Straightening your hair Plug the appliance into any 120V AC electrical outlet. Pull the lock upwards to unlock the appliance if it is locked (Fig. 3).
