This glass can break if the deviceis dropped on a hard surface or receives a substantial impact. Touch screen To control your phone, lightly touch the screen with your fingertips. The screen doesnot respond when you use your fingernails. Insert the SIM card 1 Switch the phone off. 2 To remove the back cover of the phone, press the back cover with your fingers, andslide it off. Remove the battery, if inserted. To unlock the SIM card holder, slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow on theholder. Lift the holder. 10 Get started 5 Insert the SIM card into the holder. Make sure the contact area of the card would face down when the SIM card holder is lowered. 6 Lower the SIM card holder. To lock the SIM card holder, slide the holder to its original position. Important: Do not use a mini-UICC SIM card, also known as a micro-SIM card, a micro- SIM card with an adapter, or a SIM card that has a mini-UICC cutout (see figure) in thisdevice. A micro-SIM card is smaller than the standard SIM card. This device does not support the use of micro-SIM cards and use of incompatible SIM cards may damage thecard or the device, and may corrupt data stored on the card. Insert a memory card Use only compatible memory cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and the device and corrupt data stored on thecard. Keep all memory cards out of the reach of small children. Insert the memory card To remove the back cover of the phone, press the back cover with your fingers, slidethe cover open, and lift the cover off. If the phone indicates a low charge, do the following: You do not need to charge the battery for a specific length of time, and you can use thephone while it is charging. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the chargingindicator is displayed or before any calls can be made.
