Info message (Menu 5.9.5) ] Receive Yes: If you select this menu, your phone will receive Info service messages. No: If you select this menu, your phone will not receive Info service messages any more. ] Alert Yes: Your phone will beep when you have received Info service message numbers. No: Your phone will not beep even though you have received info service messages. ] Languages You can select the language you want by pressing [On/Off]. Then, the info service message will be shown in the language that you selected. Push message (Menu 5.9.6) You can set the option whether you will receive the message or not. Messages Multimedia Multimedia Camera Menu 6.1 You can take pictures with the integrated camera and send them via MMS. You an easily take pictures of subjects in front of you using the camera on the upper folder. To take self-portrait pictures, you use the mirror in the side of the camera as a viewfinder. In this case, the picture will be displayed on the sub- LCD. KG800 has a built-in 1.3M pixel digital camera, which allows to take pictures at 1280x960 pixel (also known as SXGA). The CMOS sensor allows high quality pictures and additional functions as 4x digital zoom (depending on the resolution), brightness and white balance control,various effects and so on. Through the integrated flash,you can take also pictures in low light conditions. N NNo oot tte ee v Frame shots are only available with the pixel resolution set to 176 x 220. v Multi shots are only available when the pixel resolution is set to 320 x 240 or 640 x 480. v To use the Photo Caller ID feature, you must take photos you wish to associate with your contacts in 72x72 resolution. v Once the photo has been taken and saved, go to Contacts and select the contact you wish to associate the photo to or select Add new to create a new contact(please note that a photo can only be associated with a contact stored in the phone's memory and not on the SIM). v Select Edit. Use the left/right directional keys to scroll the various options and press OK to change them, following the indications described below: ] Brightness: changes the brightness of the photo among 5 levels (-2, -1, 0, 1 and 2). You can also change the brightness of the picture using the left/right directional keys from the viewfinder. ] Size: Set the size (resolution) of the picture. You can choose between 320x240, 640x480, 1280x960, 48x48 – for phonebook – e 128x160 – to be used as wallpaper. N NNo oot tte ee v Bigger size pictures will take more memory to be saved. Multimedia Multimedia Multimedia ] Timer : Using this function you can delay the camera shutter time by selecting either None, 3 seconds, 5 seconds or 10 seconds. N NNo oot tte ee v You can set the timer pressing the key from the viewfinder. ] Quality: You can select the desired quality of picture by selecting either S- Fine, Fine or Normal. N NNo oot tte ee v A high quality setting will increase the definition of the photo, but the memory size will be bigger. ] White balance: Using this function you can adjust the tone of the background picture according to the weather by selecting either Auto, Cloudy, Incandescent, Fluorescent and Daylight. ] Album: Show all the pictures stored in the album. ] Exit: Exit from the settings menu. ] Modo: Set the kind of picture to be taken. You can choose among the following options: • Still shot: Takes a standard picture. • Multi shot: You can take up to 9 consecutive shots, depending on the resolution. After shooting, you can check each picture, one by one, pressing the down directional key. After checking the photos, you can either save them or delete them choosing the relative icons. N NNo oot tte ee v The multi shot function is only available if the resolution is set as 320x240 or 640x480. You can take 9 consecutive shots with 320x240, while only 3 with 640x480. The pictures will be handled all together (deleted or saved), you can’t handle them one by one. • Frame shot: You can apply 10 kinds of frame effects when taking a picture. To select the frame, press the up directional key and confirm your choice pressing OK. N NNo oot tte ee v Frame shots are only available with the 128x160 pixel resolution. ] Effect: Changes the color of the pictures.
