Instant messages You can send and receive instant messages (IM) if your service provider supports this feature. 1. In Standby mode, press [Menu] > Connectivity > IM. 2. If the device does not attempt to log in automatically, press < Options> > Log in. 3. Select an account. 4. Enter your user ID and password, and then press < OK>. 5. To log out, press < Options> > Log out. 1. In Standby mode, press [Menu] > Connectivity > IM > Conversations. 2. Press < Options> > New conversation > Enter user ID or Select from contacts. 3. Enter a user ID or select a contact from your contact list. 4. To end the conversation, press < Options> > End conversation. When you receive an IM invitation, press < Show> to accept the invitation. If you have multiple invitations at once, press < Show>, scroll to an invitation, and press < OK>.
