ASSEMBLING THE BLOWER TUBE WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing do not operate this tool until the parts are replaced. Use of this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury. See Figure 2. • With the logo area facing up, slide the blower tube over the outlet on the blower housing. • Press down on the tab on the blower housing outlet. • Push tab on outlet on the blower housing down until it locks into place through the opening in the blower tube. STARTING/STOPPING THE BLOWER See Figure 3. • To start the blower, place the power switch in the ON (l) position. • To stop the blower, place the power switch in the OFF (O) position. TO INSTALL / REMOVE BATTERY PACK WARNING: Blower is intended for household use only. See Figure 4. WARNING: Always remove battery pack from your tool when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury. 7 — English OPERATION OPERATION To install: • Place the power switch in the OFF (O) position. • Place the battery pack in the blower. Align raised rib on battery pack with groove in the blower’s battery port. . • Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap in place and that battery pack is secured in the blower before beginning operation. CAUTION: When placing battery pack in the blower, be sure raised rib on battery pack aligns with the back of the blower and latches into place properly. Improper installation of the battery pack can cause damage to internal components.
