4. Abra la tapa de la bobina. Upper Threading 1. Raise the presser foot using the Presser Foot Lever. 2. Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the balance wheel toward you (counterclockwise). 1Presser foot lever 3. Place a spool of thread on the horizontal spool pin and press a spool cap onto the spool pin to hold the thread spool firmly in place. The thread end should come from the bottom front of the spool. CAUTION • If the thread spool and/or spool cap are set incorrectly, the thread may tangle on the spool pin and cause the needle to break. • Use the spool cap (large, medium, or small) that is closest in size to the thread spool. If a spool cap smaller than the thread spool is used, the thread may become caught in the slit on the end of the spool and cause the needle to break. CAUTION Be sure to thread the machine properly. Improper threading can cause the thread to tangle and break the needle, leading to injury. 4. Deliver the upper thread as shown in this diagram. 5. Make sure to guide the thread through the thread take-up lever from the right to the left. 2Thread take-up lever 6. Place thread behind the guide above the needle. NOTE: If the thread take-up lever is lowered, the upper thread can not be wrapped around the thread take-up lever. Levante el prensatelas con la palanca correspondiente. 2. Levante la aguja a su posicion mas alta, girando la ruedecilla hacia usted (en el sentido contrario al de las manecillas de un reloj). 1Palanca del prensatelas 3. Coloque un carrete de hilo en el portabobinas horizontal previsto y mantengalo firmemente con el fleje para que no se mueva. El final del hilo debe proceder de la parte inferior del carrete. PRECAUCION • Si el carrete de hilo o la tapa del carrete no estan colocados correctamente, el hilo podria enredarse en el portacarrete y romper la aguja. • Utilice la tapa del carrete (grande, mediana o pequena) que mejor se adapte a la medida del carrete de hilo. Si la tapa del carrete es mas pequena que el carrete de hilo, este podria engancharse en la ranura en el borde del carrete y romper la aguja. PRECAUCION Asegurese de enhebrar correctamente. Si no enhebra la aguja correctamente, podria enredarse el hilo y romperse la aguja, lo que puede causar lesiones. 4. Enhebre el hilo superior tal como indica el diagrama. 5. Asegurese de guiar el hilo por la palanca tirahilos, de la derecha a la izquierda. 2Palanca tirahilos 6. Coloque el hilo detras de la guia, arriba de la aguja. NOTA: Si la palanca tirahilos esta bajada, el hilo superior no podra enrrollarse alrededor de la palanca tirahilos. Asegurese de levantar la palanca del prensatelas y el tirahilos antes de cargar el hilo superior. Si carga incorrectamente el hilo, pueden surgir problemas al coser. Mise en place du fil superieur 1. Remonter le pied-de-biche a l’aide du levier correspondant. 2. Remonter completement l’aiguille en tournant le volant vers soi (dans le sens oppose aux aiguilles d’une montre). 1Levier du pied-de-biche. 3. Placer une bobine de fil sur l’axe horizontal et mettre un disque bloque- bobine pour maintenir le fil en place. Lextremite du fil doit provenir du cote inferieur avant de la bobine.
