If damages are found, the local office of the carrier must be notified at once and an inspection requested. Also, notify Hobart Customer Service. If the delivery receipt is signed clear and concealed damage is found, the carrier must be notified and inspection requested within 15 days of delivery. Hobart Corporation will take care of filing carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments. The local Hobart office can ascertain if the unit can be repaired in the field or at their location. Should replacement of unit(s) or parts be necessary, contact your Hobart representative or the Customer Service Department.
