If damage is found, repack the modem in the original packing material and contact your dealer. 1.3 A Look at the Modem Card Phone: Accepts a Telephone set Connected Parallel to your Modem. Each port can only accept one device; otherwise, there is a conflict. Your modem is designed for use with serial ports. You can use any COM port, COM1 to COM4. Some computers, may support only two serial ports. See your computer manual for the number of ports on your computer.
