Example: if you register a VCR at the VIDEO 1 jacks, "VCR" appears instead of "VIDEO 1". SPEAKERS A/B SPEAKERS, MUTE (KRF-V5020) VIDEO VOLUME VOLUME MUTE TUNING/SKIP SOUND MUTE MULTI CONTROL SOUND RC-R0508 RC-R0710 Adjusting the tone The following adjustments are possible if the receiver is in the stereo mode. 1 Press the SOUND key to select the tone mode to be adjusted. BASS: Select this to adjust the low frequency range. (Press the SOUND key once.) TREB: Select this to adjust the high frequency range. (Press the SOUND key twice.) SP A RL SW STEREO TREB +4 2 Use the MULTI CONTROL (TUNING/SKIP) to adjust the sound quality. • The bass and treble levels are adjustable from -10 to +10 in 2 step increments. • The adjustment item is displayed for approximately 8 seconds. • If you used the remote control (RC-R0508) to perform the above setting, press the VIDEO key at this point to turn off the remote control’s own adjustment mode. In this case, the input source is not switched. Once-touch low frequency emphasis (bass boost) The following adjustments are possible if the receiver is in the stereo mode. Press the BASS BOOST key. • Press the key once to select the maximum (+10) low frequency emphasis setting. • This key does not function when the receiver is in the sound quality or ambience effects mode. Switching back to the previous setting Press the BASS BOOST key again. Operations 3Use the VOLUME CONTROL (VOLUME) to adjust the volume.
