If it is very dirty, the motor protection filter should be rinsed. The filter must then be left to dry for at least 24 hours. . After cleaning, slide the motor protection filter into the vacuum cleaner and close the dust bag compartment lid. Cleaning the foam filter If your appliance is fitted with a filter frame and foam filter, the foam filter should be cleaned at regular intervals by tapping out the dust or rinsing the filter. Remove the foam filter from the filter frame and clean it by tapping out the dust. If the foam filter is very dirty, it should be rinsed.
