When the installation has completed, click Close.
After closing, the system configuration information is gathered and displayed in a text file named
RMECfgChk.txt. This information is useful for verifying whether all the required components
are present on the system.

The 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange Service will be started automatically.
If not, start the 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange Service (or run: Net start
RMExchAgent).
Verifying the Patch Installation
1.
Log on as the System Administrator.
2.
Click Start —> Control Panel —> Programs and Features —>View installed updates.
3.
Verify that “Update for 3PAR Recovery Manager for Microsoft Exchange (4.2.0-P03)” appears
under the Installed Updates Name column.
Installation Troubleshooting
•
If the 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange Service (or the HP 3PAR Recovery Manager GUI/CLI)
is running while you are installing this patch, you will be prompted to continue the installation,
exit the installation, or close the application and try again..
It is recommended that you stop the running service and click Try Again. If you continue without
stopping the service, you will need to perform a system restart.

If an HP 3PAR Recovery Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server version other than 4.2.0.21 is
installed, you will receive an error stating that there is error applying the patch.
•
If HP 3PAR Recovery Manager 4.2.0 Software for Microsoft Exchange is not installed, you will
receive a Windows Installer error.
