This release notes document describes the modifications and known issues for Patch 30. The application
of this patch is intended for HP 3PAR InForm OS 2.3.1.208 (GA), 2.3.1.238 (MU1), 2.3.1.284
(MU2), 2.3.1.298 (MU3), 2.3.1.330 (MU4), or 2.3.1.400 (MU5). Only an authorized HP Service
Provider should perform this maintenance procedure.
1.1 Supported platforms
The HP 3PAR Configuration Matrix for InForm OS 2.3.1 contains information about supported hardware
and software platforms. For additional information, see the Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge
for HP Storage Products (SPOCK) website: http://www.hp.com/storage/spock.
1.2 Verifying the patch installation
The installation of Patch 30 can be verified from an Interactive CLI session. Issue the CLI command
showversion -a -b to verify that Patch 30 is listed.

This patch is not revertible after installation.
NOTE:
If HP 3PAR InForm OS 2.3.1 P25 is installed before installing HP 3PAR InForm OS 2.3.1
P30, P25 is not displayed in the output of showversion –a –b command after P30 is installed.
But, the issues addressed in P25 are addressed by P30.
