Select AREA SELECT and press the ENTER button. • The image will be frozen and the area cursor will be displayed. 2. Press 1 ► to move the area cursor to select the required area and press the ENTER button. • The selected frozen image will be displayed in a split window. 3. Press the MENU to display the PICTURE menu on the right. 4. Adjust the required PICTURE menu items. • The Other menu items are not available. • Sub-menu items vary according to the selected input signal. See “Main menu and sub-menu” on page 28. 5. Press MENU/RETURN button several times to escape from the menu. 6. Press the ENTER button. • The confirmation screen will be displayed. Select OK to finish the adjustment. 7. Press the ENTER button. • Press the ENTER button again to return to the AREA SELECT. • Press the RETURN button escape from the SPLIT ADJUST mode. You can perform more detailed image adjustment manually. ■ GAMMA You can adjust linear intensity at 3 levels. Press 1 ► to increase/decrease 1 point. The system minimize block noise and mosquito noise to eliminate jagged edges, providing an overall smoother image. Press 1 ► to select the required setting. • ON: Active • OFF: Deactive NOTE: • MPEG NR system is not available with COMPUTER/ HDMI (VGA60) signals. See “Setting your own color profile” on page 26. ■ xvYCC You can switch on/off the automatic adjustment system for signals which complied with xvYCC. • ON: Active • OFF: Deactive NOTE: • xvYCC adjustment system is only available with HDMI signals in COLOR1 of PICTURE MODE menu. ■ DETAIL CLARITY You can switch on/off the automatic detail clarity system. • ON: Active • OFF: Deactive ■ CINEMA REALITY You can switch the automatic image synchronizer on/off for 24 frames a second images, such as movies. Press 1 ► to select the required setting. • ON: Active • OFF: Deactive NOTE: • CINEMA REALITY is effective only with interlace signals. ■ TV-SYSTEM When the video signal is changed, the setting switches automatically. You can switch the setting manually to match the video data. Repeat step 4 until you finish the text line. • Move the cursor to ALL DELETE and press the ENTER button to delete all the entered text line. • Press the DEFAULT button to delete the last entered character or indicated with cursor in the text box. • To insert a character in the entered text line, move the cursor to the text box to select the required place and press G then perform step 4. 6. Select OK and press the ENTER button to set the entered text as a name. NOTE: • If you leave the text box empty and save, the default memory number will stay as a name. MEMORY LOAD You can access the saved settings instantly. See “Loading a saved setting” on page 23. 1. Select a setting from MEMORY1 - 16. • Undefined settings will not be selectable. 2.
