A Safety instructions for motor carving devices • Original Accessories / Additional Equipment ■ Use only the accessories and additional equipment referred to in the instructions. The use of tools or other accessories which are not recommended in the instructions may represent a risk of injury. • Operation • Turning the Device On / Off □ Insert the mains plug into a socket. During prolonged working with wood and particularly if materials are processed which produce dusts that are hazardous to the health. Do not soak materials or areas which are to be worked on with solvent-containing liquids. Shaving of the materials may produce harmful / toxic vapours. Material containing asbestos must not be processed with this device. Asbestos is a known carcinogen. Under no circumstances should you prop up your hands next to or in front of the device or the area to be worked on. There is a danger of injury from the very sharp attachment tools. Always route the cable towards the back away from the device. In cases of danger remove the plug from the socket immediately. Switching on: □ Press the ON / OFF switch [T] to the "I" position. Switching off: □ Press the ON / OFF switch [Y] to the "0" position. • Inserting / Replacing Blades A|WARNTnG!| DANGER OF INJURY! During assembly and the final check of the blade you should wear appropriate protective gloves. The selection of the correct carving blade depends on the specific application. The carving blades supplied are suitable for the most common applications (see Figures B - D). □ Release the cap nut [6] with the key [8] in an anticlockwise direction. □ Remove the blade if necessary. Insert another blade into the tool holder [5| as far as it will go. □ Re-tighten the cap nut [6] with the key [8] in a clockwise direction.
