Install the printer driver carefully following the procedures described in the printed Quick Start Guide. If the printer driver was not installed correctly, reinstall it. If you are using Windows, delete the printer driver before reinstalling it. . Uninstalling Printer Drivers Note . If the Installer was forcibly terminated due to an error in Windows, Windows may be unstable. This could prevent the printer driver from being installed. Restart the computer before reinstalling the printer driver. ¦ Close any other applications before installation. Sometimes the printer driver cannot be installed because another application is running. First, check the Page Size setting in the application. Next, check the Page Size setting in the Printer Properties dialog box for Windows or the Page Setup dialog box for Macintosh. Note . When using an ECP printer port in Windows, you may not be able to print due to the computer environment. For details, refer to " Problems Unique to Windows". ¦ Check the amount of the space on the hard disk. You may need to increase the amount of free space by deleting any unnecessary files.
