When starting playback, appears at the bottom left of the display and if the button is pressed again, H appears and playback stops. When you press the button, just after purchasing the player or after disconnecting the supplied USB cable from the computer, playback starts from the first song on the player. • There is no power button on the player. When you stop song playback or FM reception (NW-S202F/S203F/S205F only) by pressing the button, after about a few seconds, the display goes off automatically and the player enters Sleep status. In this case, if you press any button, the player returns to the previous status. When the G Sensor menu is deactivated in Sleep status, the player consumes very little battery power. I~2l VOL +*/- button Adjusts the volume. [3] DISP/HOME button When you press this button while the player is in play or stop mode, you can change the display. [5~1 Shuttle switch By rotating the shuttle switch, you can select a menu item, skip to the beginning of the song, or fast-forward/fast-rewind. To close the lid, rotate it to set the OPEN position and close, then rotate it to the right to set the LOCK position. I~7~l Headphone jack For connecting the headphones. Connect until it clicks into place. If the headphones do not connect properly, it may not sound right. [8~1 Strap hole This is used to attach a strap (sold separately). 20 Display 191 Sorting status indication (Sort) / Jl icon During playback operation, the JJ icon or the current song order icon (® (Artist order), (*) (Album order) or ■© (Albums by artist order)) appears. In Normal mode, the JJ icon appears, and in Folder control mode, the song order icon appears. [ÎÜ1 Text/graphic information display Displays album title, artist name, song name, current date and time, messages and menu. During playback operation in Normal mode, “song title/artist name, album name” appears. During playback operation in Folder control mode, “album title/artist name/playlist name” appears. To change the display mode, press the DISP/ HOME button. Switch the display to Power Save mode when you do not operate the unit for a while. PTT| Play mode indication (Play Mode) Displays the current play mode icon.
