Registering the remote control by setting the category and manufacturer of the device The remote control is usually registered as follows. 1. Start the Remote control app. 2. Tap [ Register device] or [Register device]. 3. Tap [Easy registration]. 4. Register your tablet device as a remote control following the on-screen instructions. Execute [Remote control test] if needed. When you finished setting, the device list screen is displayed. Your tablet device can then be used as the remote. Hint If you cannot find the category or manufacturer, allow your tablet device to learn the remote control signal then register it. Start Remote control app. 2. Tap [ Register device] or [Register device]. 3. Tap [Learn from a remote control]. 4. Select the category. A remote control is displayed on the screen. 5. Tap the button you want to assign the signal to. 6. When the menu screen is displayed, tap [Learn remote commands]. 7. Bring the remote control to be registered close to the IR data port of your tablet device, tap [Start], and press the button to be learned on the remote control.
