This worklight operates cooler, safer, and is more energy efficient than conventional halogen worklights. It has durable, die-cast aluminum fixture heads with independent On/Off switches and a heavy-duty stand that extends 8’ in height. • Phillips head screwdriver • 10mm open-end wrench or an adjustable wrench • Fluorescent worklight (A) • (2) 65 watt fluorescent bulbs (B) • Light assembly bar with knobs (C) • Adjustable pole assembly (D) • Tripod stand assembly (E) IMPORTANT: READ ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: When using outdoor portable lamps, basic safety instruc- tions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, including the following: • Use only three wire outdoor extension cords that have three-prong grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug. • Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the wet location portable lamp. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and are able to be used for this measure of safety. • Use only with an extension cord for outdoor use, such as an exten- sion cord type SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A,STOW, STOW-A, SJW, SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A, SJTW, SJTW-A, SJTOW, or SJTOW-A. • For indoor and outdoor use. • UL LISTED for wet locations. • This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Important: Read Before Using! Remove cardboard insert that is protecting bulb before use. Step 1: Loosen the knob (turn counter-clockwise) located on the back and top of the fixture (F). Step 2: The doorframe and lens assembly will swing down allowing access to the bulb. Remove the cardboard insert. Then see “Installing the bulb.” Step 3: Replace the door frame and lens assembly and secure it by tightening the knob that was loosened in Step 1. Step 4: Repeat process for second fixture head. Installing the bulb Step 1: Loosen the knob (turn counter-clockwise) located on the back and top of the fixture (F). Step 2: The doorframe and lens assembly will swing down allowing access to the bulb. Remove the new fluorescent bulb from its package. Step 3: Push one of the plastic bulb retainer clips open and carefully 3 4 Step 1: Remove the pole and stand assembly from the box. Loosen the locking knob located just above the stand assembly and open the legs to the full open posi- tion. Secure the locking knob and place the pole and stand assembly on a flat surface (H). Step 2:To mount each light fixture to the light bar, first loosen and remove wing knobs from both bolt holes located on the light assembly bar. Place each bolt through the “U” brackets on the light fixtures, then through the light assembly bar. When positioned correctly, the small hole in the center of the light assembly bar should be fac- ing up. Place the wing knobs in position (under the bar) and tighten until secure.
