If the bidirectional communication functions are provided with your printer, disabling the functions on the computer may enable printing. Check the physical connections between the computer and printer, the AC adapter and the power cord, and the power cord and an AC outlet, and then restart the computer. 131131nN Troubleshooting Troubleshooting i.LINK Devices I cannot establish an i.LINK connection between two VAIO computers . You must have administrator rights on the computer to be able to link the two. . Disconnect then reconnect the i.LINK cable. . If you still have no connection after waiting for a while, restart both computers. . If either computer has just returned from a power saving mode, the connection may be affected. In this case, make sure you perform a full restart before connecting them. When I record images to a digital video device using DVgate Plus, I see an error message . Close all open applications and restart the computer. Frequent recording of images to a digital video device while using DVgate Plus sometimes causes this error. . Your DV device will need to have DV In/Out in order to be able to transfer your files to the DV device. I cannot use digital devices . The built-in MOTION EYE camera cannot be shared by more than one software application. If another software application is using the camera, exit the application before using the built-in MOTION EYE camera. . The video memory of the computer may have become insufficient for displaying images from the built-in MOTION EYE camera. Lowering the resolution or reducing the colors of the LCD might help. . The viewer window may show some noises, for example horizontal lines, if you view a rapid-moving object. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. . If the problem persists, restart the computer. Captured images are poor in quality . The images captured under the fluorescent lamp may show reflection of the light. . A dark portion in captured images may appear as a noise. . If the front mirror plate over the lens is dirty, you cannot take a clear shot. Clean the lens. See On Using the Built-in MOTION EYE Camera (page 108). Captured images contain dropped frames and audio interruptions . The effect settings on your software application may have caused dropped frames. See the help file on your software application for more information. . There may be more software applications running than your computer can handle. Exit the applications that you are not currently using. . The power management function of your computer is activated.
