More than two effect units can be simultaneously switched on or off. Guitar Input Jack This jack is to connect an electric guitar or an electronic musical instrument to. Signal Output Jack fused to turn on or off the Power as well) This jack is to supply signal to amplifier. Send Jack (used to turn on or off the Power as well) This )ack is to send the signal from the Guitar Input Jack to the effect units. Return Jack This jack is to input the signal processed by effect unit. Indicator This turns red when the effect is ON and turns green when OFF. If this does not light up or lights only dimly, the PSM-5 is being overloaded. Pedal Switch By using this, you can select direct sound (effect OFF) or processed sound (effect ON). Thumb Screw Operations 1 Connect the effect units to the PSM-5 as instructed below. Turn the effect units on. Step on the Pedal Switch of the PSM 5 to turn the effect ON. (The indicator turns red.) Set each knob of the effect units to the appropriate level. ? * Cmm CHECK 5 Each effect unit can bo turned on or off individually by using its pedal switch. If more than one effect uni! is used, you can turn all the effects on or off with the Pedal Switch of the PSM-5. Cautions • Use the BOSS AC Adaptor PSA 120, 220 or 240 depending on your country's voltage system • Cap the DC plug not in use to prevent its metal part from short circuiting. • When the PSM-5 is not to be used for a long time, disconnect the AC Adaptor from the wall outlet. • Avoid u s i n g the PSM 5 in t h e p I a c e o f dust, heat or humidity.
