Notes to Observe When Using the PD-80R/PD-80/KD-80 These products feature improved triggering performance compared with previous versions. To derive maximum performance from these devices, we recommend that you refer to the information below and adjust the trigger parameters accordingly. * For instructions on how to adjust the trigger parameters, refer to the owner's manuals for your sound modules and other devices. Set the trigger parameters as described in the Owner's Manual, then adjust as described below. ■ Recommended Trigger Parameters for Each Sound Module Sound Module PD-80R/80 KD-80 TD-20 Sensitivity = 9 RimShot Adjust = 1.8 Sensitivity = 11 TD-10 + TDW-1 Rim Sens = 5 Sensitivity = 9 Curve = EXP1 TD-8 SENSITIVITY = 8 SENSITIVITY = 10 TD-6/6V Sensitivity = 9 Sensitivity = 11 TD-3 (No change required) Sns = 10 SPD-S Rim Sens = 9 Rim Gain = 1.1 (No change required) SPD-20 TRIG TYPE = 120 TRIG SENS = 9 Rim Sensitivity (riM) = 1 TRIG TYPE = K1 TRIG SENS = 13 HPD-15 Trig Sens = 10 Rim Sens = 5 Trig Sens = 13 TMC-6 (No change required) SENSITIVITY = 11 RM-2 Sns = 10 Rim Sens (riM) = 11 Sns = 12 * You may be able to achieve even better performance characteristics by setting Curve = EXP1. * Rim Sens and Rim Gain are effective only with the PD-80R. ■ About the PD-80R's Rim Sens If hitting the head produces a rim sound instead, reduce the Rim Sens value (RimShot Adjust on the TD-20).
