When the output is monaural, connect the amplifier to the Output A, and a rich chorus sound can be obtained. PEDAL SWITCH This is an On/Off switch for the effect. ’ Adopting the FET switch, the DC-2 is free from click noise. CHECK INDICATOR This indicator lights up when the effect is turned on. When the indicator becomes dimmer or does not light at all, replace the battery with a new one. MODE SELECTORS These buttons can be used for selecting one ol the four Dimension modes. The effect is deeper from the left to right. * When all the Mode Selectors are off, the Mode 0 is selected. * Do not press more than one button at a time. INPUT JACK Connect an electronic musical instrument, such as a guitar to this jack. * Plugging in the Input Jack turns the unit on. So, when the unit is not to be used, disconnect the connection cord from this jack. THUMB SCREW Loosen this screw and open the pedal when replacing the battery. * Please do not remove the screw from the pedal, or you may loosed it. OPERATION 1 When all the necessary connections rire made, select the Dimension mode you like by pushing a Mode Selector Button (1 to 4} * Do not push more than one button at a lime ’ Ptease treat the Mode Selectors gently 2 Depress the Pedal Switch. When the indicator lights up, the effect is on, and when il stays dark, the effect is oft. * This indicator also serves as battery check When it does not light up at all or lights but dimmer, battery replacement is required IMPORTANT • When operating the DC-2 from AC line, use the BOSS PSA-sertes AC Adaptor. # Avoid using the DC-2 in extreme heat, humidity or where it may be affected by dust. BATTERY REPLACEMENT USE ONE 9-VOLT BATTERY Loosen the Thumb Screw to open the Pedal. >2 ' Take out the battery from the Battery Housing and disconnect the Battery Strap '3? Replace with a new battery and connect the Battery Strap. Put the Coil Spring to the Spring Base and close the Pedal. * Make sure that the Battery Strap is not caught in the Pedal or C.oil Spring.
