__________________________ Serial No. ___________________________ Connect speakers Note • Ensure that the colors of the speaker wires and terminals are matched. 1 Hold down the socket ap. 2 Insert the stripped part of the wire completely. • I nsert the right speaker wires to “R ”, left speaker wires to “ L ”. • I nsert the red/blue wires to “+ ”, black wires to “ - ”. 3 Release the socket ap. Connect power Caution • Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the apparatus. • Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power cord, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord. • Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure you have completed all other connections. 1 Connect the plug to the power socket. Install remote control batteries Caution • Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or re. Never discard batteries in re. • Risk of decreased battery life! Never mix different brands or types of batteries. • Risk of product damage! When the remote control is not used for long periods, remove the batteries. 1 Open the battery compartment. 2 Insert 2 UM-4 AAA batteries with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. 3 Close the battery compartment. 10 EN Set clock 1 In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK on the main unit to activate the clock setting mode. » [SET CLOCK] (set clock) is displayed brie y. (See the user manual of the MP3 player) 12 EN 5 Play options Repeat and random play 1 Press REPEAT/SHUFFLE repeatedly to select: • [REP] (repeat): the current track is played repeatedly. • [REP ALL] (repeat all): all tracks are played repeatedly. • [SHUF] (shuf e): all tracks are played randomly. • [SHUF REP ALL] (repeat all randomly): all tracks are played repeatedly in random order. 2 To return to normal play, press REPEAT/ SHUFFLE repeatedly until play mode is no longer displayed.
