ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING 5 ENGLISH ENG Component and Button Description DVI-D INDP INHDMI 1HDMI 2/MHLUSB IN 1USB IN 2USB IN 3H/PAUDIO IN(PC)USB UP5 V 0.9 A5 V 0.9 ADC-IN (19.5 V ) Power Indicator yy On: power is on yy Off: power is off (Power Button) Touch buttons on the bottom of the monitor Ports Moving and Lifting the Monitor When moving or lifting the monitor, follow these instructions to prevent the monitor from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation regardless of its shape or size. Installing the Monitor Assembling the stand base 1 Place the screen face down. CAUTION yyTo protect the screen from scratches, cover the surface with a soft cloth. CAUTION yyAs far as possible, avoid touching the monitor screen. This may result in damage to the screen or some of the pixels used to create images. 2 Check the orientation (front and rear) of the stand base and mount the stand base to the stand hinge as shown in the figure. yyIt is advisable to place the monitor in the original box or packing material before attempting to move it. yyBefore moving or lifting the monitor, disconnect the power cord and all cables. yyHold the top and bottom of the monitor frame firmly. Do not hold the panel itself. yyWhen holding the monitor, the screen should face away from you to prevent it being scratched. yyWhen moving the monitor, avoid any strong shock or vibrations to the product. yyWhen moving the monitor, keep it upright, never turn the monitor on its side or tilt it sideways. Stand Hinge Stand Base 3 Fix two screws into the back of the stand base and close the screw cover. Stand Base Detaching the stand base 1 Place the screen face down. Installing onto a table 1 Lift the monitor and place it on the table in an upright position. Place at least 10 cm away from the wall to ensure sufficient ventilation. CAUTION yyTo protect the screen from scratches, cover the surface with a soft cloth. 10 cm 2 Open the screw cover on the back of the stand base and use a screwdriver to remove the two screws. Detach the stand base from the stand hinge as shown in the figure. 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm Stand Hinge 2 Connect the adapter to the monitor, then plug the power cord into the power outlet. Stand Base CAUTION yyThe components in the illustrations may differ from the actual product. yyDo not carry the monitor upside down, as this may cause it to fall off its stand and result in damage or injury. yyTo avoid damaging the screen when lifting or moving the monitor, only hold the stand or the plastic cover.
