IBPED100-E SoleMate Portable Pedicure Kit Instruction Manual and Warranty Information PED-100, PED-100B Give Your Feet The Attention They Deserve Thank you for purchasing the Sole Mate Portable Pedicure Kit. This pedicure kit is built with high quality craftsmanship to ensure years of dependable use. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: • Unit should never be used in the presence (direct or indirect) of any liquids. The Sole Mate Portable Pedicure Kit is not waterproof, and will short circuit when in contact with liquids. This includes areas of extreme humidity (i.e. bathroom), where corrosion can take place. • Avoid exerting strong pressure on the massage head. Never dropor strike the unit against a hard surface. • Dead batteries should be immediately removed from the battery compartment, as they will leak and corrode the internal contacts. WARNING - Caution – Please read all instructions carefully before operating. • Close supervision is mandatory when this appliance is used by, on or near children, invalids or disabled persons. • For health and safety reasons, avoid usage of product directly over any sensitive or irritated areas. • Individuals with any previous medical conditions should refrain from using this product. • This product is intended for hand-held, intermittent use and should be operated for no more than 30 minutes at a time. For best results, unit should be used for short periods of 5 to 10 minutes. 2 Figure 1 Coarse Medium Fine MAINTENANCE • Never use benzene, thinners, or any other organic solvents to clean the product. Use of these cleansers will damage the unit. • Only a damp cloth should be used to clean the pedicure unit and its attachments. To Apply Attachments: 1. Select the attachment you wish to use. (See Figure 1.) 2. Secure the attachment to the Sole Mate unit. (See Figure 2.) For Battery Insertion: 1. Remove the battery cover in the direction of the arrow. (See Figure 2.) 2. Insert 2 “AA” batteries (not included) into the compartment. Once complete replace battery cover. DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW BATTERIES, DO NOT MIX ALKALINE, STANDARD (CARBON-ZINC) OR RECHARGEABLE (NICKEL-CADIUM) BATTERIES. How to Turn Off and On: 1.
